A visit to the Centre of Islamic Civilisation — a new cultural and educational complex devoted to the history, development and worldwide influence of Islamic culture.
The visit lasts around 2 hours and includes exhibitions, manuscripts and interactive displays.
Next, a tour of the city’s main squares and landmarks:
The Courage Monument — dedicated to the 1966 Tashkent earthquake.
The Alisher Navoi Opera and Ballet Theatre — viewed from the outside.
Amir Timur Square — one of the city’s central squares, with the monument to Amir Timur.
Independence Square — the country’s main square, with fountains, monuments and green spaces.
Chorsu bazaar — one of the best-known traditional markets in Tashkent, where you can buy spices, dried fruit, craft goods, souvenirs and local produce.

Around 12:00 — arrival at Amirsoy.
A ride on the modern cable car at the Amirsoy resort.
The ticket is included in the price.
The ascent reaches an altitude of about 2,290 m. The cable-car ride takes around 25 minutes each way.
Free time at the top, with the chance to take photographs and enjoy the mountain panoramas.
Descent by cable car.
A visit to the Charvak reservoir — viewed from the outside.
Return to Tashkent.

A visit to the Bibi-Khanym mosque — one of the largest mosques of its time, built in the era of Amir Timur.

A visit to the Registan — the principal architectural landmark of Samarkand, framed by three madrasas.
A visit to the Siab bazaar — one of the city’s oldest markets, known for its fruit, nuts, dried fruit, sweets and local atmosphere.

The Samarkand excursion programme continues.
A visit to Silk Road Samarkand / Eternal City — a modern cultural complex built in the style of the ancient cities of the Great Silk Road. Here you can walk the craft streets and see workshops and architecture in the traditional style.
Next, a trip to the village of Konigil, known for the traditional production of Samarkand paper from mulberry wood. You can see the whole hand-making process and discover the local crafts.
A visit to the Imam al-Bukhari complex — one of the most important religious and pilgrimage sites in Uzbekistan.
The new complex lies next to the village of Khartang and covers around 44 hectares.
The complex comprises:
the mausoleum of Imam al-Bukhari;
a large mosque with capacity for up to 10,000 people;
four minarets around 75 metres high;
a museum;
inner courtyards and gardens;
a library;
an educational centre.
The complex is dedicated to Imam Muhammad al-Bukhari, the outstanding Islamic scholar and compiler of the hadith collection Sahih al-Bukhari.
The visit lasts around 3 hours, covering both the interior and the grounds.
