A packed 6-day tour of Tajikistan: Dushanbe, the Hisor Fortress, the Nurek Reservoir, Hulbuk and the famous Lake Iskanderkul. The route combines history, mountain scenery and the country's leading landmarks.
TRIP PROGRAMME
Day-by-day itinerary
Arrival at Dushanbe International Airport.
Meeting with the driver and transfer to Baland Hotel, Dushanbe.
Check-in and overnight at the hotel.
09:00 — start of the Dushanbe city tour.
Visits to Dusti Square, the Ismoil Somoni monument, the National Library, the National Emblem, the National Museum, Rudaki Park, Kohi Navruz and Independence Square.
After lunch — transfer to Hisor.
Visit to the Hisor Fortress and the historic madrasah.
Return to the hotel at approximately 17:00.
A trip to Nurek, where you can enjoy beautiful mountain scenery and views of the Nurek Reservoir and dam.
Afterwards we continue to Faizobod.
This excursion runs without a guide.
Return to Dushanbe and overnight at the hotel.
Drive from Dushanbe to the Kulob region.
Visit to the Hulbuk Fortress — one of Tajikistan's most important historical and archaeological monuments.
After the excursion, return to Dushanbe.
08:00 — departure from Dushanbe towards Lake Iskanderkul.
Enjoy the mountain scenery along the way.
Visits to Lake Iskanderkul, Snake Lake and the Fann Waterfall.
Return to Dushanbe at approximately 17:00.
Transfer from Baland Hotel to Dushanbe International Airport.
End of the tour.
The order and content of days may be adjusted to departure dates and weather.
